It is important that your dancer comes dressed in dance wear for the purpose of safety and the instructor can give accurate guidance on technique. Thank you!

—Please be sure to write your child’s name on the inside of both dance shoes and their skirts/shorts.

—Dance shoes are important to have to avoid slips and falls in the dance studio, where as socks it is easy to slip.

—Convertible tights are also important in the case we take our shoes off to focus on foot work. Tights are also very slippery on hard surfaces.

—A dance bag is highly recommended to hold your child’s shoes, water, extra tights, and other dance essentials. I also recommend having a few extra pairs of tights at home as they tend to rip. Hairspray and clear nail polish work great to prevent tears from getting larger.

—Dance shoes should be snug fitting without “room to grow”.

—Leg warmers and ballet sweaters are allowed during the cold seasons.
