Coronavirus Updates
Mask Policy as of March 1st, 2022
Per Public Health Dane County and CDC guidelines, the Public Health Dane County Mask Mandate for the county will expire on March 1st 2022. Therefore, we will no longer require masks to be worn in our facility starting March 1st. We ask that you continue to monitor yourself and your family for symptoms and stay home if sick. We ask all those who enter our gym respect others masking choices.
Updated 8/04/2021
Follow Public Health of Dane County and CDC guidelines regarding capacity restrictions of indoor spaces.
Continue with all thorough sanitizing procedures in place.
Mask Policy updated:
We are requiring masks be worn by all gymnasts, employees and visitors ages 2 and up while inside our facility. With the increase of cases of the Delta variant in Dane County and the school year quickly approaching, we feel it is in the best interest of all in our facility to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. We appreciate your cooperation with our policy and we will continue to evaluate our policies throughout the fall and into winter based on PHDC and CDC guidelines.

Updated 3/14/2020
Due to the current Government recommendations and with the health and safety of our gymnasts, their families, our staff and the community in mind, we have decided to reschedule our Spring Break to begin this coming Monday, March 16th through Sunday, March 22nd.
During this time, we will not be holding any classes, team practices or open gyms (3/16-3/22). As of right now, we do plan on resuming regular classes on Monday, March 23rd. We will be making changes to the schedules of some of our competitive team groups to limit the number of people in the gym at a time. There will be a follow up email on Monday regarding your child’s competitive team practice schedule. We will also be cancelling all open gyms beginning March 16th until further notice. We will be holding classes and open gyms this weekend (March 14th & 15th). Here are a few of the other policies that we will putting into action to be as vigilant as possible:
- The drinking fountain in the gym will be out of order. We ask that all students bring their own labeled water bottle and do not share with other students.
- All gymnasts and coaches will be required to wash their hands before entering the gym and at the conclusion of class. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the class in the gym as well.
- All gym, lobby and bathroom surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
- We will open the doors for a few hours everyday (not during classes) to allow for the circulation of fresh air to aid in the sterilization process.
- We do ask that you try your best to leave space between you and other spectators in the lobby and upstairs viewing area if possible and have the fewest number of spectators attend class as possible.
- All open gyms will be suspended until further notice.
We will be providing all families with two open gym passes per student for this week’s cancelled classes. As of right now, we are hoping to only be closed this one week and hope to provide most students with 5 classes in the month of April. All Friday and Saturday students will receive additional open gym passes.
We apologize for any inconvenience this unexpected change may cause and we appreciate your support and understanding during this very difficult time. We wish you and your family peace, comfort, health and safety in the upcoming weeks and we will keep you updated on the status of the gym.
Sincerely,
Lake City Twisters
